WHAT IS THE DOMINICAN ORGANIZATION OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT? ODDH

 

It is an organization without aims of profit legally constituted and seated in the ministry of State of Industry and Commerce/ National Office of the Industrial Property of the Dominican Republic, with the registry number 231255.

 

The ODDH created to educate in technical courses and languages, to communities in extreme poverty, free, offering scholarships.

 

 

WHICH IS THE VISION OF THE ODDH?

 

To be a sustainable program, that give continuity the education management, to create the desire of triumph in the mind of children, young people and adults destitute, with the hope to move away them of reaches  of the misery, stress, drugs, alcohol, cigarette and bad habits.

 

 

WHICH IS THE MISSION OF THE ODDH?

 

That a great amount of people of several ages enters to our program of scholarships or free courses, and by this way to create autosufficient  individuals.

GOALS OF THE DOMINICAN ORGANIZATION OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

 

 

1.     · To give greater knowledges to the beneficiaries of the scholarships about the importance of the personal and spiritual development.

 

2.     · Our program aspires that the families have improved human formation and conscience

 

3.     · Creation of opportunities, and the generation of income for the maintenance of your families and of this form to be autosufficient. On having obtained a decent employment in the least possible time, and future aptitude to tackle an own busines with the acquired skills.

 

4.     · Harmonic Relations between the members of the family.

 

5.     · That the beneficiaries take part in healthy activities that they seek to improve in environment where they reside.

 

6.     · To give the opportunity to a great number of children and young men(women) between 10 and 40 years, to obtaining the knowledge and learning of different technical courses and workshops.

 

7.     · That the childhood and the youth that the benefited neighbourhoods integrate, invest the time in courses that qualify them and keep them removed from the bad habits and the drugs.

 

8.     · The participation of the parents to motivate the process and progress of THEIR) children.

 

9.     · That the parents worry in order that your children have an excellent assistance, and at the same time be present at the

periodic meetings with the managers of the project in the educational center, to evaluate the results.

10.                       · The plan consists of a set of technical educations and courses workshops multidisciplinary involved in the implementation of the initiative and goals. Where the families in extreme poverty will have access.

 

11.                       · There will be obtained familiar and community benefits strengthening the human relations.  

 

12.                       · That many LDS are benefited by the project and to be autosufficient

 

13.                       · In forming groups of young men(women) and children compromised with an expectancy of much better life, that they are propellents of the values of peace, respect to the human rights, tolerance, leadership, autoesteem, familiar(family) values, community participation and labour self-sufficiency.

 

14.                       · The children and qualified young men will turn into multipliers who were qualifying other young men, for the improvement of the quality of life of other teenagers, families and the communities in general.

 

15.                       · Technical Strengthening orientated to the young population, not graduate and graduate. The young population is the most vulnerable with relation to the unemployment in the Dominican Republic.

 

16.                       · To motivate the population benefited by the scholarships, which they continue studying in the formal education, in schedules that should allow them to work for the sustenance of  their families.

 

17.                       · To qualify near 2000 persons every year, with the help of our sponsors and donations.
